     The European Academy of Religion and Society—Amsterdam

  • Published several public engagement and whitepaper articles on religion and society covering a wide range of topics including artificial intelligence, vaccine ethics, media coverage of religion in Spain, COVID-19 and religion, narratives of digitalisation, morality and types of interest, among others.

  • Composes monthly public engagement articles on current trends and themes in religion and society as well as a monthly editorial style articles on more contentious topics. 

  • Located recently published articles, essays, and media covering the theme of religion and society, especially those considering technology and/or genetics in relation to religion.

  • Analysed and summarised relevant articles on religion and society.

  • Utilized an online platform to submit analysis and record important source information for future research implementation.  

  • Contributed to the growing dataset on publications on religion and society that enables broad analysis to be done of religion in modern European society.

     St. John’s College—Oxford

  • Edited contributions of a soon-to-be-published Festschrift covering Hebrew Bible/Old Testament text criticism, interpretation, theology and reception history for typographical and bibliographical errors, including articles involving Hebrew language and script as well as visual media.  

  • Adapted contributor articles to the publisher’s requested stylistic demands.

  • Worked as a part of a small team focused on completing the project in time.

  • Summarised the content and argument of select Festschrift essays.

  • Compiled bibliographies for select contributions.

Foundations for Reading Theology at Oxford

   Faculty of Theology and Religion, University of Oxford                    

  • Prepared and Instructed the lesson plan covering practical elements of success at reading theology at the University of Oxford, including modules on appropriate self-care and wellbeing, maximising tutorials, writing quality essays, and revising effectively.

  • Led class participants through a diverse assortment of active and passive learning tasks, including group discussion, lecture, take-home assignments, and exploring case studies.

Revision Tutorials for Undergraduate Paper 2405 Science and Religion

    St John’s College, Oxford

  • Conducted a set of revision tutorials for a undergraduate student at St John’s College and preparing for the Honour’s School Paper 2405 Science and Religion at the Faculty of Theology and Religion at the University of Oxford.

  • Gave constructive feedback on the nature of the arguments being put forward in essays.

  • Explored through Socratic exchange the nature of the relationship between science and religion, cultivating both reflection on current academic discourse and original insight.

How We Do Theology

   Central London Hub of the New Wine Network’s Discipleship Year

  • Developed a lecture on the nature of doing theology, offering a broad overview of academic approaches and analysing the strengths and weaknesses of two representative theologians.

  • Emphasised the phronetic nature of doing theology in the academy and in the church.

  • Optimised the classroom environment for interactive participation as well as the presentation and improvement of students’ own theological work.

2 Corinthians – Beginning Theology 

    St Mellitus College                                                     

  • Constructed and offered a guest lecture as part of an access course, Beginning Theology aimed at those not yet having the qualifications for academic theological study.

  • Taught the whole of 2 Corinthians, covering questions of compositional structure, cultural and historical background, development of Paul’s argument, themes, and purpose of the book.

  • Led class participants through a diverse assortment of active and passive learning tasks, including group discussion, lecture, immediate application and class presentation of learning.

Private Biblical Hebrew Language Tutor        Mar 2020 to June 2021

     Self-Employed—Oxford, UK

  • Developed a language learning curriculum, including selecting textbooks, supplementary materials, and learning assessment tools (quizzes).

  • Instructs on the basics of Biblical Hebrew grammar and syntax.

  • Customised the learning experience for the student according to their particular personality, learning style, progress, and COVID-19 limitations.

  • Instructed an undergraduate with ADHD at Oxford University on academic study skills, how to structure and write academic essays, etc.

  • Tutored essays covering early Christian history and thought.
